Description of the municipality of Herscheid
The community is on beautiful 59 square kilometers in the Märkisches Kreis.
The object says about itself, of course on their own website: "Lying in a beach chair, the feet in the sand, the view towards the water: what sounds, like a holiday dream by the sea, can be reality every day in Herscheid. This is just one of the many facets of the warm water outdoor pool: Here feel both the little ones, as well as the big ones.”
A new stainless steel pool is to be built.
The object has already been modernized, approximately 2010 with a paddling pool and a non-swimmer fun pool made of stainless steel. At that time, the water treatment system was limited to 400m³/h in a very small space. Back then, however, it was sport- and Springer pools have not been rehabilitated or rebuilt. Well 2020 it was time, that the funding for the next step was also available.
Particularities
The old manufacturers of the water treatment plant, and thus the vacuum precoat filter no longer existed! The community had both works, Stainless steel pool and water treatment system advertised as a package, to create a stable connection between the trades.
Development of new filter plates
For the mission, it was therefore necessary to equip the filter with new filter plates, to develop these plates new and economically for a first single piece. The 21 existing panels were against 43 to add new plates to be developed.
The control also had to be adapted to this higher load. In addition, a smooth start-up of the system and a switch to internal circulation had to be ensured under various circumstances.
The satellite image in the map below was taken around February 2020 recorded and shows the outdoor pool in the condition of the construction site. In a further phase of the renovation, the building, recognizable by the black solar system on the roof, be sanitized.
